Job summary

Cornell Cooperative Extension is seeking an Association Executive Director for Franklin County to lead program strategy and operations in collaboration with the Board and Cornell University. The role demands active county presence and strong community engagement.

The Executive Director oversees finances, personnel, and risk, guiding educational programs aligned with local needs while expanding revenue streams and partnerships.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree plus six years of related experience, including four years in a leadership capacity.
• A PhD may substitute for 1 year of experience.
• Ability to demonstrate engagement in the association by regularly providing in-person organizational leadership and oversight.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Association under Board guidance and Cornell partnership.
• Oversee finances, HR, technology, marketing, facilities, and risk management.
• Develop strategic plans, fund development, and diverse revenue streams.
