The role combines governance, fundraising, and staff leadership in a flexible hybrid setting. The compensation includes a salary range of $120,000–$145,000 annually with excellent benefits and opportunities

Qualifications

• 8+ years leading labor and/or community organizing efforts, ideally in a coalition setting.
• 2+ years in nonprofit leadership.
• Proven experience with foundation fundraising.
• Strong ability to grow and maintain coalitions, uniting ally leadership around a common agenda.
• Exceptional relationship-building and conflict-resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall fundraising strategy across foundation and grassroots channels.
• Oversee foundation fundraising, including prospecting, funder relationships, and grant management.
• Cultivate philanthropic partnerships and engage funders as a thought leader.
• Oversee grassroots fundraising activities and donor relations.
• Manage coalition relationships and plan meetings and events.
• Coordinate policy positions with coalition members and legislative committees.
• Develop shared strategy across the coalition with leadership.
• Guide campaign planning and evaluation across short and long term horizons.
• Represent JWJSF in media and movement spaces.
• Support staff with campaign implementation.
• Provide HR policies, budgeting, and internal controls.
