Bright Horizons invites applications for an Executive Director at Johns Hopkins Child Care and Early Learning Center and Bayview Medical Center. You will lead a high‑quality early education program that partners with families, children, and educators to reach their full potential.

You will drive program quality, staffing, enrollment, and center operations while upholding NAEYC standards. Maryland Director Qualifications, a Bachelor’s in ECE (Master’s preferred), and 6+ years’ leadership are

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or related field required; master’s preferred.
• 6+ years of experience in early childhood education, including leadership and center administration.
• Strong knowledge of NAEYC accreditation and licensing standards.
• Maryland Director Qualifications required.
• Proven leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
• Supervisory experience in a client-based, large, or multi-site child care center preferred.
• Experience in a corporate environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and develop a strong team, including hiring, coaching, and supporting leaders and educators.
• Drive a positive and inclusive culture that promotes collaboration and belonging.
• Lead program quality and compliance, ensuring center exceeds NAEYC standards.
• Partner with families and the community to foster relationships and engagement.
• Oversee business and operational performance, including enrollment and financial management.
