Job summary

National Association For Latino Community Asset Builders in Phoenix is seeking an Executive Director to lead GPAAZ as it advances lending, technical assistance, and organizational resilience. The ED will guide strategy, oversee staff, and ensure compliance with CDFI mandates, while partnering with funders, government agencies, and community partners to expand impact across Arizona.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business or public administration, or comparable professional work experience.
• Significant senior leadership experience in a CDFI or mission-driven financial organization.
• Experience with budgeting, reporting, and organizational governance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all lending operations, TA programming, staff management, and day-to-day leadership.
• Manage staff performance and develop a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Communicate with the Board and provide timely operational, financial, and program updates.
