Job summary

Busey seeks an Executive Director of Business Banking in Phoenix to shape the strategic direction of the bank’s Business Banking segment, drive core deposit growth and treasury fee income, and align product strategy with market opportunities.

You will oversee CRM adoption, sales pipeline discipline, and performance tracking, collaborating with ROM leadership and Consumer Banking to ensure cohesive execution of growth strategies across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or finance; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 8–10 years of experience in commercial or business banking; at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Formal credit training or ongoing professional development is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the strategic direction for Business Banking sales across the bank’s footprint.
• Identify market opportunities and competitive threats to inform strategy.
• Evaluate and optimize the Business Banking product suite to meet client needs and profitability.
• Oversee CRM adoption, pipeline management, and sales performance.
