Job summary

Ballet Lubbock Inc. is seeking an Executive Director to lead the organization’s daily operations, financial health, and strategic growth in West Texas. You will partner with the Artistic Director and Board to advance artistic excellence, education, and community engagement.

The role requires strong fundraising capabilities, financial management, and the ability to build relationships with donors, partners, and stakeholders while upholding inclusion and transparency in all activities.

Qualifications

• Significant nonprofit arts leadership experience.
• Proven fundraising and donor development track record.
• Strong financial management and budgeting experience.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience working with a Board of Directors.
• Commitment to inclusion, diversity, equity, and accessibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and day-to-day administrative leadership.
• Partner closely with the Artistic Director and Board of Directors.
• Implement the organization’s strategic plan and monitor progress toward goals.
• Oversee administrative, financial, development, marketing, and operational resources to support priorities.
• Lead donor cultivation, stewardship, and fundraising initiatives.
• Develop and manage the annual operating budget for Board approval.
