Capital Clubhouse is seeking a dynamic leader to serve as its next Executive Director. This individual will be a passionate advocate for the Clubhouse Model, combining a deep belief in the restorative power of community with strategic and financial acumen to grow the organization’s impact. The Executive Director is the \"face\" of the Clubhouse, responsible for fostering a culture of equity, managing complex government relations, and ensuring the long-term sustainability of the program through robust fundraising and grant cultivation with support from the Board of Directors.
The Executive Director provides comprehensive organizational leadership, including financial management, budgeting, reporting, technology optimization, and close partnership with the Board of Directors to strengthen governance and support leadership development. The role advances a consensus-based strategic vision, serves as the primary external advocate to increase awareness and reduce mental health stigma, and drives fundraising and revenue diversification through new funding streams and expanded donor engagement. Additionally, the Executive Director fosters a trauma-informed culture, supervises and develops staff, oversees employment programs, and builds strong relationships with government agencies, community leaders, and nonprofit partners to support funding and policy initiatives.
The ideal candidate is a compassionate, mission-driven leader with demonstrated success in fundraising and financial management, strong communication and mediation skills, and prior experience within mental health or human services organizations. They will bring a deep commitment to the Clubhouse Model, collaborative consensus-based leadership, cultural competency, and the ability to build trust with diverse stakeholders, supported by a bachelor's degree (advanced degree preferred).
The annual salary for this position is $150,000.
