Job summary

BTL Foundation for International Services is seeking a part-time executive leader to guide strategy, operations, and growth from Newark, DE. The role requires strong leadership, fundraising insight, and governance collaboration with the board to advance programs and partnerships.

The position supports a hybrid work model with travel up to 25% and a flexible schedule, reflecting our mission to promote education, health, and service opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a leadership role
• Strong business acumen and understanding of organizational operations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team (volunteers) towards achieving organizational goals
• Experience in strategic planning, project management, and process improvement
• Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
• Bachelor's degree in a related field (Master's degree preferred)

• Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and vendors
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
• Monitor and evaluate organizational performance, making recommendations for improvement
• Represent the organization in public forums and events
• Evaluate grantmaking procedures, applications, and follow-up
• Tell our story
• Market the impact and programs of BTLF
• Create volunteer opportunities and new programs, while managing existing service-work
