Job summary

KinderCare Education LLC in Minnesota is seeking an Executive Director to lead our Child Care centers. You will hire, develop, and empower a high-performing team of educators, partner with families, and build strong community ties to deliver outstanding early childhood education.

With our renowned curriculum, licensing guidance, and support from the corporate team, you will drive center performance, ensure compliance, and enhance engagement with families and partners across the state.

Qualifications

• At least one year of solid leadership experience with the ability to develop, engage, and inspire a team.
• Love for children and a strong desire to make a difference every day.
• Ability to build relationships with families and staff and create a dynamic environment.
• Outstanding customer service, strong organizational skills, and multi-tasking ability.
• Budget and financial accountability with revenue generation experience preferred.
• NAEYC/NAC and state licensing knowledge preferred.
• Meet state guidelines for the role.

When you join our team as an Executive Director, you will:

• Hire, engage, and develop a team of "best in class" educators to be passionate and committed professionals
• Partner with parents with a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners
• Use your business, sales, and marketing savvy to grow KinderCare Learning Companies' presence in the community, leading to the growth of new families and children in our centers

Qualifications:

• At least one year of solid leadership experience with the ability to develop, engage, and inspire a team
• A love for children and a strong desire to make a difference every day
• Ability to build relationships with families and staff and create a dynamic environment where play and discovery go hand-in-hand
• Outstanding customer service skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task and manage multiple situations effectively
• Budget and financial accountability with revenue generation experience preferred
• NAEYC/NAC and state licensing knowledge preferred
• Meet state specific guidelines for the role
• Ability to physically use a computer with basic proficiency, lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors. Ability to assume postures in low levels to allow physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to connect with children and their parents

In the state of Minnesota, we currently provide an additional $3.00 per hour premium on all classroom hours worked in addition to the range of pay listed. This premium is funded through the Minnesota Great Start Grant Compensation Support Program.

Range of pay $56,250.00 - $102,250.00 Salary
