Job summary

BriteLife Recovery in Hanover, PA is hiring an Executive Director for a Substance Use Disorder Treatment facility. You will lead operations, drive strategic vision, and inspire staff to deliver compassionate patient care while upholding our mission and values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with five (5) years of full time, or full time equivalent, administrative or supervisor experience in a licensed substance abuse disorders treatment facility.
• Master's Degree with two (2) years of full time, or full time equivalent, administrative, or supervisory experience in a licensed substance abuse disorders treatment facility.
• Knowledge of OSHA, OASAS, The Joint Commissions and general licensing standards.
• Ability to function as a team player with corporate leadership to determine staffing requirements and interview candidates.

Responsibilities

• Works effectively with the facility leadership team to ensure the success of the facility by completing assigned tasks.
• Review performance data to measure productivity and identify cost reductions and program improvements.
• Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and licensing regulations.
• Establish and maintain departmental policies, goals, objectives, and procedures with corporate leadership.
• Ensure timely staff orientation, education, and supervision.
• Coordinate staffing requirements and interviewing with HR and Credentialing.
• Maintain clear lines of responsibility within reporting departments.
• Provide facility reporting information to Leadership as indicated.
• Monitor the facility to ensure safety, security, and upkeep.
• Process payroll and vendor invoices.
• Maintain liaison with staff, service providers, and clients.

What you will be doing?

We are seeking an experienced Executive Director to ensure the continual delivery of excellent patient/ client care and to oversee all operations, functions, and activities for a Substance Use Disorder Treatment facility. As the Executive Director it will be your responsibility to give the proper strategic recommendations and implementing a superior vision for BriteLife Recovery. An excellent Executive Director should be able to inspire passion and motivation in those they collaborate with and lead. Strong communications skills and an ability to be flexible in their approach in their style towards leadership is a must. The goal of this position is for continual management and execution of BriteLife’s core values, mission, and vision.

What tasks are required?

• Works effectively with the facility leadership team to ensure success of the facility by completing the following:

• Works with department directors, supervisors, and corporate staff to coordinate activities of the multiple departments.

• Review performance data as indicated to measure productivity and goal achievement and to determine areas needing cost reduction and program improvement.

• Ensure development, implementation and follow through with compliance activities as it relates to accreditation standards and licensing regulations, including client rights.

• Establish, implement, and maintain departmental policies, goals, objectives, and procedures, conferring with corporate leadership.

• Ensure timely staff orientation, education, and supervision.

• Work with Corporate leadership to determine staffing requirements, and interview candidates, as needed. Work closely with the HR and Credentialing departments to ensure criminal history and credential background checks have been reviewed and verified.

• Establishes clear lines of responsibility and accountability within direct reporting departments.

• Provides facility reporting information to appropriate Leadership, as indicated.

• Monitor the facility to ensure that it remains safe, secure, and well maintained.

• Complete payroll and invoice approval for employees, contractors, and vendors.

• Establish and maintain liaison relationships and communication with facility staff, service providers, support service providers, community resources and clients.

• Ensure that admission interviews with clients are conducted in accordance with the facility’s policies and procedures.

• Ensure the Company’s policies and procedures for emergency services and situations are followed.

• Ensure all Company policies and procedures are followed including, but not limited to infection prevention and boundaries with clients.

• Ensure plans of correction, licensing deficiencies and complaint reports are addressed as required by the State’s Licensing Agency in a timely manner.

• Assist with employee relations issues as they arise.

What we need from you?

• Bachelor's Degree with five (5) years of full time, or full time equivalent, administrative or supervisor experience in a licensed substance abuse disorders treatment facility OR Master's Degree with two (2) years of full time, or full time equivalent, administrative, or supervisory experience is a licensed substance abuse disorders treatment facility.

• Proficiency in reviewing performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement and to determine areas needing cost reduction and program improvement.

• Ability to ensure follow through with compliance activities as it relates to accreditation standards and licensing regulations.

• Knowledge of OSHA, OASAS, The Joint Commissions and general licensing standards.

• Demonstrate the ability to function as a team player by working with corporate leadership to determine staffing requirements, and interview candidates.

• Demonstrate effective time management.
