Job summary

The Global People Hub Limited is seeking an Executive Design Director in a remote-capable role, ideally based in California. You will set the agency’s creative standard, lead a multidisciplinary design team, and be the senior creative voice with clients.

You’ll shape how products come to life in real spaces, from flagship stores and pop-ups to branded environments, ensuring a cohesive brand story across channels. This hands-on leadership role requires big ideas, craft, and executive presence.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in design and creative leadership at an agency, consultancy or studio.
• An exceptional portfolio showing big ideas and exacting craft.
• Physical retail experience from flagship stores to pop-ups and branded environments.
• Sharp, current feel for American culture and how people shop and respond to brands.
• Experience leading and developing creative teams.
• Executive presence and strong storytelling skills.
• Ideally, experience with premium or luxury brand experiences.

Our client, a design and strategy agency in Los Angeles, is looking for an Executive Design Director to lead its creative vision.

The opportunity:

The agency turns strategy into experiences people can see, touch and feel, for some of the most influential technology brands in the world. As Executive Design Director, you will set the creative standard for the whole agency, lead its multidisciplinary design team, and be the senior creative voice in the room with clients.

You will lead the creative vision for how products come to life in real spaces, from flagship stores and pop-ups to all branded environments, ensuring every detail, from materials and lighting to layout and customer flow, tells a cohesive brand story.

This is a hands-on leadership role. You will shape the big ideas and stay close enough to the work to make it better.
