Job summary

Matthews is seeking a Research Analyst to work directly with and in support of our CEO, Kyle Matthews. This on-site role in Nashville, TN will shape Matthews’ public research strategy and influence how leadership engages with the market.

You will turn data releases into sharp points of view, draft content for media, newsletters, and social channels, and develop data-driven reports and visuals for executives and clients.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in CRE research or related analytical/communications role.
• Strong writing and editing to translate data into narrative.
• Experience with CRE data sources and Excel-level data skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.

Responsibilities

• Track CRE and macroeconomic data releases and identify trends.
• Translate data into executive insights and stories.
• Develop data-driven reports and market updates.
• Own the newsletter The Matthews Market Pulse end-to-end.
• Create data visualizations for broad audiences.
• Prepare briefing materials for speaking engagements.
