Job summary

Qualifications

• United States Citizenship required per policy.
• Doctor of medicine degree or equivalent in allopathic/osteopathic medicine.
• Current full and unrestricted medical license in US states or DC.
• Completion of ACGME/AOA-accredited residency in core surgical specialty.
• Possession or eligibility for board certification in a surgical specialty.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership for all clinical and administrative aspects of Surgical Service.
• Ensure appropriate surgical coverage and staffing models across inpatient, outpatient, and procedural settings.
• Lead quality improvement, patient safety, and performance improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with interdepartmental leaders to coordinate care and program development.
• Manage credentialing, privileging, and professional development of staff within Surgical Service.
