Located just miles outside of Silicon Valley and San Jose, the completely renovated Embassy Suites by Hilton Milpitas Silicon Valley is searching for a creative Executive Chef to lead their culinary team. Boasting 2 culinary selections as well as 19,000 square feet of event space, the property has 267 guest suites, an indoor pool, and stunning views of the Milpitas foothills.

What will I be doing?

As Executive Chef, you will be responsible for directing and administering the planning, preparation, production, and control of all culinary operations to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Your responsibilities include:

1. Directing and overseeing all culinary operations, including meal production, food quality, safety standards, team performance, policy implementation, and cost controls.
2. Implementing new menus and items for our specialty restaurant TASTE, based on current food trends and regional tastes, in partnership with the Director of Food and Beverage, while maintaining brand standards.
3. Overseeing the complimentary breakfast program and maintaining brand standards.
4. Ensuring compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol standards, as well as participating in the company's QA inspection and Ecosure Program.
5. Maintaining daily kitchen logs and managing purchasing and receiving of supplies for daily use and special events.
6. Performing general management duties, including systems management, budgeting, forecasting, report generation, and team management.
7. Monitoring and developing the performance of line, restaurant, and banquet cooks, including supervision, scheduling, counseling, evaluations, and recognition.
8. Recruiting, interviewing, and training team members.

The annual salary range for this role is $90,000–$100,000, based on experience and location.
