Job summary

gategroup is seeking an Executive Chef, Operations to oversee the daily preparation and quality of pre-designed meals for multiple airline accounts. You will manage Chefs, Sous Chefs and Cooks, drive menu and production standards, and lead cost control efforts while ensuring HACCP compliance.

The role emphasizes culinary leadership, high-volume operations, and collaboration with operations managers to deliver exceptional airline dining experiences.

Qualifications

• Executive Chef role experience required
• In-flight catering or high-volume food service experience preferred
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily culinary operations for multiple airline accounts
• Manage Chefs, Sous Chefs and Cooks at the unit
• Ensure adherence to recipes, portion specs and budget constraints
• Lead menu design and cost controls; analyze production and waste
• Maintain safety, sanitation and regulatory compliance
