Job description

We have the exciting opportunity to collaborate with a renowned Sushi restaurant, boasting multiple locations across the West Coast. The company is eager to welcome an Executive Sushi Chef on board to contribute to creating an inspiring culinary experience!

Responsibilities :

  • Lead and manage the culinary operations and back of house personnel
  • Ensure food is prepared, plated, and served efficiently in accordance with food health and safety regulations
  • Recruit and train the culinary staff, providing a strong team culture and environment
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to continuously enhance the restaurant’s culinary operations
  • Oversee critical quality control for every menu item
  • Manage labor and food costs
  • Inventory and waste management

Key Requirements :

  • 5 years of culinary leadership experience, preferably sushi experience
  • Well-rounded and motivated culinary leader who can hold their own in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrate the ability to differentiate various tastes, such as sweet and bitter flavors
  • An eye for detail and a commitment to quality
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
