Job summary

The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) College of Medicine in Charleston, South Carolina, seeks an accomplished, nationally recognized academic leader to serve as Chair of the Department of Regenerative Medicine and Cell Biology, a top 20 NIH-funded department.

Reporting directly to the Dean, the Chair will guide the department's growth, recruit strategically, support faculty and trainees, and promote interdisciplinary collaborations across MUSC's biomedical enterprise.

Qualifications

• Ph.D., M.D., or MD/PhD or equivalent degree.
• Progressive administrative leadership experience in an academic medical center.
• Strong track record of extramural funding.
• National recognition for research excellence with high-impact publications.
