Job summary

Change Church Inc seeks a strategic Chief Financial Officer to align financial strategy with multi-site ministry goals. You will oversee planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and treasury while building scalable systems and internal controls.

You will lead a high-performing finance team, collaborate with senior leaders, and ensure GAAP compliance and audit readiness to sustain growth and impact.

Qualifications

• Active CPA license required.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of senior financial leadership experience.
• Experience in megachurch/multi-site ministry preferred.
• Proven budgeting, forecasting, modeling, cash-flow planning and reporting.
• Advanced knowledge of nonprofit accounting and GAAP.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic financial planning, forecasting, and organizational stewardship.
• Oversee accounting, payroll, budgeting, reporting, treasury management.
• Develop scalable financial systems, policies, and internal controls.
• Provide dashboards, models, and performance metrics to leadership.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and audit readiness; manage external audits.
• Collaborate with executives on multi-campus expansion and capital projects.
• Guide procurement, contracts, and financial partnerships; lead risk management.
• Lead and develop the finance team with a culture of accuracy and excellence.
