Job Summary

As an Executive Catering Manager, you will plan and deliver exceptional catering for executive leadership, board members and other high‑level groups. You will act as an executive liaison for existing and future clients and work towards building strong relationships. The ideal candidate demonstrates hospitality expertise, discretion and attention to detail.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Coordinate catering for executive board meetings, VIP clients and other high‑level functions.
• Act as primary point of contact for the executive and development office events team.
• Collaborate with the Chef to create menus for specific client preferences.
• Train catering associates in high standards of service, presentation, and food safety.
• Manage event budgets, food costs, and labor targets.
• Utilize CaterTrax software to create banquet event orders.
• Assist in responsibility for all foodservice‑related activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 4 years of food service experience, including 2 years at a management level.
• Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, health care, and/or related food service operations.
• Catering experience is required.
• Knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation.
• Financial, budgetary, accounting and computational skills.
• Proficient computer skills and knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet.
• ServSafe Certification.
