Job summary

Lumafield, a San Francisco-based maker of industrial X-ray CT scanners and AI software, seeks a senior communications leader to shape and tell the company story. You will own the narrative, drive earned media, ghostwrite for the CEO, and place Lumafield on major stages and in top-tier outlets.

You'll manage a small, high-performance team and oversee editorial, digital content, and brand expression to accelerate growth in industrial markets.

Qualifications

Evidence of excellent, highly-effective work in past roles.
Ability to tell clear stories through owned editorial and external communications.
Strong network with reporters, hosts, and podcast producers you can leverage.
Experience building and leading a small, high-performance team.

Responsibilities

Define Lumafield's company narrative for reporters, buyers, and investors.
Lead earned media and communications with a hands-on, high-visibility approach.
Develop the CEO platform: ghostwriting, prep, talks, podcasts, and stage appearances.
Place Lumafield in key conferences, panels, and events relevant to physical AI and manufacturing.
Oversee owned editorial, podcast and video direction to support growth.
Direct the creative direction for brand, website, and social media; grow the team.
