The candidate will manage calendars, coordinate travel, conduct editorial research, support on-air appearances, and handle expenses while working toward tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Administrative experience is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in journalism or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in fast-paced, high-pressure environments with deadlines.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to arrive to work by 4:30 AM.
• Interest in News and professional business demeanor.
• Ability to travel and interact with high-level executives.

• Manage an active calendar of meetings and book and coordinate extensive travel arrangements.
• Research, prioritize, and follow up on incoming issues and concerns.
• Editorial research.
• Assist with research for on-air appearances including shows, guest appearances, radio appearances and podcasts.
• Prioritize conflicting needs and handle matters expeditiously and proactively.
• Perform special projects as assigned.
• Handle expense reports and vacation requests.
• Coordinate and execute on various social media platforms.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $21.00-27.65 per hour. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
