Southern Company is seeking an Executive Assistant to provide high-level administrative support to the SVP, Finance & Treasurer, and other senior leaders. The role demands confidentiality, superb organizational skills, and proactive prioritization in a corporate setting.
You will manage the executive calendar, coordinate travel, prepare materials, and liaise with executives and stakeholders across the organization.
This position will be located at Southern Company (30 Allen), Atlanta, GA. This position will be required to be in the office 4 days a week (Monday-Thursday) and Friday is optionally remote depending on business needs.
The Executive Assistant position provides administrative and clerical support for the Senior Vice President, Finance & Treasurer Officer and other senior level direct reports as needed. This requires someone with extensive experience in the administrative field supporting an officer in a corporate environment.The most qualified candidates will possess exceptional organizational and decision-making skills, strong working knowledge of computer applications and administrative best practices, and the ability and desire to work through changing priorities with minimal supervision.
The Executive Assistant works closely with executive offices across the Southern Company footprint to manage calendar, travel arrangements, and organize team events. This position views significantly confidential information and must be able to maintain that confidentiality.
