A Day in the Life

As an Executive Administrative Assistant at Medtronic Surgical, you will support our leadership team to drive innovation and excellence in surgical solutions. Your role involves ensuring seamless communication and coordination within the team and across departments, managing complex schedules, organizing high-stakes meetings, and handling confidential information. Your contributions will help facilitate Medtronic Surgical's strategic goals and support our mission of transforming healthcare through groundbreaking surgical technologies that improve patient outcomes worldwide.

Location: CT

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Providing comprehensive administrative support, including managing complex schedules and calendars, anticipating needs, resolving conflicts, and using advanced tools to optimize executive productivity.
  • Drafting and developing high-quality communication and content that aligns with the executive's voice, supports organizational goals, and maintains professionalism across all channels.
  • Managing reports that generate insights relevant to the executive's assignments.
  • Coordinating, designing, and delivering virtual and in-person meetings, supporting marketing-led calls, ensuring seamless logistics, engaging content, and a professional experience for all participants.
  • Coordinating travel, submitting, and auditing expenses.

Required Knowledge and Experience: Requires advanced practical knowledge within a specific discipline typically gained through extensive work experience and/or education.

  • Requires 6 years of administrative experience.

Nice to Have:

  • 7+ years of executive administration experience
  • Local to CT
  • Strong experience with MS Teams, Outlook, Concur, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Proven track record of maintaining confidentiality and demonstrating ethical judgment
  • Ability to create compelling presentations and manage complex spreadsheets
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a proactive approach to learning and process improvement
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, take ownership, and foster a positive, collaborative environment

Salary ranges for U.S. locations (excluding PR): $72,400 - $108,600. This position is eligible for the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP). The salary range applies across the U.S., excluding Puerto Rico and specific California locations, and may vary based on experience, education, market conditions, and location.

Benefits include health, dental, vision insurance, HSA, FSA, life insurance, disability leave, tuition reimbursement, and well-being programs, among others.
