Quant Blueprint LLC is looking for a Quantitative Developer to join their high-performance tech team in New York. In this role, you'll collaborate with portfolio managers and researchers to build complex data pipelines and portfolio optimizers. We seek individuals with a strong development background and the ability to quickly acquire domain knowledge.

Qualifications

The Role

WorldQuant is seeking an exceptional individual to work as a Quantitative Developer in a high performance business-embedded tech team. Working closely with Tech, Portfolio Managers, and Researchers on portfolio optimizers, building complex data pipelines and frameworks for strategy and performance analytics. A successful candidate will bring a strong quant dev skillset with best design and implementation principles and ability to quickly acquire in-depth domain knowledge.

What You'll Bring

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience as a developer
• Strong data structures, algorithms, and maths fundamentals
• Knowledge of Python and Linux/Unix platforms; familiarity with scripting languages
• Familiarity with technologies related to data processing such as Numpy, Pandas, Airflow, Kubernetes, etc.
• Exceptional communication skills in both verbal and written form
• Mature and thoughtful, with the ability to operate in a collaborative, team‑oriented culture
• Motivated by the transformational effects of technology‑at‑scale
• Experience in finance is a plus but not required
