Job summary

Hunter Bond is seeking an Execution Algorithms Developer to own equity execution algorithms from design through live deployment. You will work closely with traders and quant researchers, refining strategies and ensuring robust, scalable execution in production.

Qualifications

• Proven experience building and deploying live equity execution algorithms.
• Hands-on experience connecting to prime brokers (FIX or equivalent).
• Strong programming skills in Python, C++, Java, or similar.
• Deep understanding of equity market microstructure and execution dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain live equity execution algorithms.
• Own integrations with prime brokers and external execution venues.
• Take algorithms from research through testing to live trading.
• Work closely with portfolio managers and quants to optimize execution performance.
• Monitor live execution, analyse performance, and iterate rapidly in a startup setting.
• Ensure robust, scalable, and well-controlled execution infrastructure.
• Contribute to the evolution of the firm’s trading architecture as it grows.
