Job summary

ASML in Wilton, CT is seeking a Factory Quality Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of lithography systems produced in our manufacturing environment. You will drive quality improvements across processes and collaborate with cross-functional teams to sustain operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in a technical field.

• Six Sigma Green Belt preferred or willing to obtain.

Introduction to the Job

As a Factory Quality Engineer, you will help ensure the quality and reliability of the technology that powers ASML’s advanced lithography systems. Your work will directly support the manufacturing of products that enable the world’s most advanced microchips. In this role, you will drive quality improvements, solve complex manufacturing challenges, and work across teams to strengthen processes that support consistent operational excellence.

Role and Responsibilities

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree or master's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, optical engineering, chemical engineering, industrial engineering, mechatronics, physics, or a related technical field.
• 2+ years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree, or relevant internship experience with a master's degree.
• Experience in manufacturing, quality engineering, process engineering, or a related technical environment.
• Experience using statistical analysis methods, quality management systems, and structured problem-solving techniques.
• Knowledge of process control, failure analysis, risk assessment methodologies, and data analysis tools.
• Six Sigma Green Belt certification is preferred or willingness to obtain certification.
