Job summary

Horace Mann is looking for an Exclusive Insurance Agent to help educators secure affordable insurance and financial solutions while building a thriving independent agency.

You’ll operate as a 1099 contractor with a competitive, performance-based compensation plan, a 48-month incentive package, and ongoing incentives. You’ll have a dedicated service representative, exclusive territory, and access to cutting-edge technology to grow your business.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry (preferred).
• Resident State General Lines Insurance Licenses: Life and Health Insurance License; Property and Casualty Insurance License.
• Ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 & 63 licenses (if applicable in your region).

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement solutions that help educators achieve affordable insurance solutions and financial security.
• Build market access and strong relationships.
• Present products to groups and individuals.
• Engage in networking, community and industry events.
• Invest time and resources to ensure long-term business success.
