An established, well-respected, and busy Annapolis-based lawfirm actively seeks an experienced Partner-Level Labor & EmploymentAttorney to join its team. The ideal candidate will possess at least 10-12years of management-side litigation, counseling, and advising experience acrossvarious Maryland and federal Labor & Employment matters. Candidates must belicensed to practice in Maryland.
The hired attorney will provide expert legal counsel andstrategic advice on various state and federal labor and employment matters.Representative responsibilities will include developing and implementingeffective strategies for resolving labor and employment disputes in variousstate and federal administrative agencies and tribunals, including the stateand federal courts of Maryland, advising and counseling clients onemployment-related policies and agreements, conducting and overseeing internalinvestigations, and ensuring management-side client compliance with relevantstate, federal, and local labor laws and regulations.
Demonstrated experience and expertise in managing complexemployment litigation cases is essential, along with a comprehensiveunderstanding of labor and employment laws and regulations at the federal,state, and local levels. Exceptional writing and communication skills arerequired, as well as the ability to handle multiple priorities within a busy,engaging, and collegial team-oriented practice environment. Candidates shouldpossess at least $250K(+) of portable client business to be considered for thisopportunity.
