Faith Technologies, Inc. invites applications for the Excellerate Apprentice I. This role supports installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance within commercial and industrial settings near Pittsboro, IN.

You will work under experienced Journeymen, install raceways, wire systems, and bend conduit as part of your apprenticeship. Eligible candidates have a high school diploma or GED and are enrolled in Electrical Apprenticeship-Level 1.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and enrollment in Electrical Apprenticeship-Level 1.
• Travel: 0-25%
• Hours: 5 am to 6 pm, Mon–Fri; may include nights, weekends, holidays.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and provide basic troubleshooting of electrical systems.
• Install electrical raceways and wire, lighting, controls, machinery, and distribution equipment under supervision of Journeymen Electrician.
• Demonstrates First Year Apprentice skills.
• Installs and bends conduit using manual, mechanical, and hydraulic benders.
• Performs wire and cable pulls; wiring tasks (strip, splice, switch, receptacle).
• Assists with material handling and ensures safety compliance.

May vary based on customer demands and can include, but is not limited to: nights, weekends, and holidays.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESInstall maintain, and provide basic troubleshooting of electrical systems.Installs electrical raceways and wire, lighting, controls, machinery, and electrical distribution equipment under the supervision of an experienced Journeymen Electrician.Demonstrates appropriate skills of a First Year Apprentice.Installs and Bends conduit using manual. Mechanical, and hydraulic benders.Performs Wire and Cable Pulls.Wiring – Stripping, splice two wires, install switch and receptacle, Draw 3 switches to control one light.Knowledge of different types of anchors and supports and how to properly install.Competent with a tape measure and level.Knowledge of different sizes of conductors and phase colors of voltages.Assists with material handling duties on the jobsite.Provides technical assistance to other apprentices as needed.Maintains compliance with company policies.Maintains compliance with all OSHA, Company, and customer-specific safety requirements.Cleans and maintains tools, test equipment, and jobsite.Actively participates in Faith’s hiring referral and mentoring program, as appropriate.Performs other related duties as required and assigned.The job description and responsibilities described are intended to provide guidelines for job expectations and the employee's ability to perform the position described.
