E.S. Wagner Company, LLC has an excellent opportunity for an Excavator Operator Underground Utilities. Work on a multi-year Charlotte-Douglas International Airport project in Charlotte, NC, operating excavators to support underground utilities installations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience operating an excavator for underground storm drain and/or waterline.
• Ability to hold trench line and grade.
• Familiar with OSHA trenching guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavator to place fills, dig, load and move material according to digging plans.
• Manipulate hand and/or foot controls to operate equipment for excavation.
• Observe hand signals, grade stakes, or other markings when operating excavator.
• Take actions to avoid potential hazards or obstructions and follow all safety procedures.
