Job summary

Want More is seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to operate heavy excavation equipment on a construction site. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of experience, can read blueprints, understands job specifications, and follows safety procedures.

You will coordinate with team members, monitor fuel and maintenance, report issues promptly, and help meet project timelines. Salary is $1500 per month, and the role is on site in the United States.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience operating excavators.
• Proficient in reading blueprints and understanding job specifications.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to heavy equipment operation.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication skills.
• Physical ability to operate heavy machinery for extended periods of time.
• Troubleshooting and problem solving; flexibility to work overtime when necessary.
• Must have own transportation.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavator to dig trenches, load trucks, and perform other tasks as directed.
• Inspect equipment before use to ensure proper functioning.
• Follow safety procedures and regulations at all times.
• Monitor and maintain fuel levels, fluid levels, and other necessary materials for equipment operation.
• Communicate with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure efficiency.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment as needed.
• Report any malfunctions or issues with equipment to supervisor immediately.
• Adhere to project timelines and deadlines.
