Job summary

Infinity Contractors is seeking a skilled Excavator Equipment Operator to efficiently operate heavy equipment for underground electrical and utility projects in the Raleigh, NC area. You’ll be involved in site preparation, trenching, grading, loading, and exaction work while adhering to project plans and safety guidelines.

The role demands attention to detail, strong equipment handling, and a teamwork mindset in a fast-paced construction environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
• Prior experience operating excavators in utility or site construction.
• Strong safety, accuracy, and teamwork.
• Willing to work 40–55 hours per week, 5–6 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy construction equipment to complete daily tasks.
• Perform service, safety checks and basic maintenance.
• Execute trenching, grading, digging, and backfilling.
• Read and follow project plans, grade stakes, and field instructions.
• Follow all safety standards and OSHA guidelines.
