Allan Myers, a leading self-performing heavy civil construction company, seeks an experienced excavator operator in the Norfolk, VA area to perform precise digging, trenching, and grading on large projects. The role requires selecting the right equipment for utility installation and mass excavation work, while maintaining safety standards.

Applicants should have strong knowledge of excavation techniques and be capable of reading plans and grade stakes.

Formación

• Minimum of 5 years of experience operating excavators in heavy civil construction.
• Experience in mainline pipe installation or mass excavation preferred.
• Ability to work with GPS machine control systems is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of excavation techniques, trenching safety, and soil conditions.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.

• Work collaboratively with crew members, site supervisors, and project managers.Hourly Range: $28.00 - $30.00, based on experience.
