Job summary

Haven Services & The Waterworks is hiring an Excavation Laborer in Columbus, OH. You will move materials, assist in installing water, gas, and sewer lines, and support crews on active construction sites.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to communicate clearly (speak, read, and write).
• Valid Ohio driver’s license with no more than 4 points.
• Ability to pass all pre-employment screenings (background, MVR, drug).

Responsibilities

• Move materials to and from job sites; organize and store materials properly.
• Load and unload trucks with construction materials and equipment.
• Assist in the installation of water lines, gas lines, and sewer lines per specs.
• Support plumbers, drain cleaners, excavation crews, industrial teams, shop staff, and admins.
• Perform a wide range of physical tasks in support of job site Operators.
• Excavate and fill trenches and ditches.
• Operate hand and power tools safely.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.
• Follow all safety policies and job site procedures.
