Job summary

Boise Cascade Company in Washington state is hiring an EWP Cutter - New Hire for an on-site, full-time role. You will support yard operations, perform distribution tasks, operate a forklift, verify loads, and assist customers.

The ideal candidate has a HS diploma or GED, is comfortable with physical work in all weather, and understands safety procedures. Preferred: knowledge of building materials and basic length measurement.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED or two years equivalent work experience.
• Able to understand and communicate safety and other work related instructions.
• Working conditions are in a warehouse operations environment with considerable physical exertion.
• Will perform duties in all weather conditions.
• Preferred: knowledge of building material products.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift and support yard distribution activities.
• Verify loads and ensure accuracy before vehicle exits the yard.
• Assist customers and maintain clean, safe work areas.
• Follow safety programs and OSHA regulations; contribute to continuous process improvement.
