Job summary

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years experience with BS, or 1+ year with MS/PhD modeling rotorcraft and eVTOL aerodynamics.
• Strong fundamentals in fixed-wing and rotorcraft aerodynamics, stability and control.
• Experience with rotorcraft eVTOL design/analysis and 6 DoF trimming.

Responsibilities

• Perform aerodynamic simulations of Archer eVTOL aircraft across the flight envelope.
• Develop linear/non-linear aerodynamic models and validate against data.
• Analyze flight test or wind tunnel data to improve models.
• Feed flight test data back into aerodynamic simulations and software stack.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and pilots for updates.
