Job summary

Aramark is hiring an EVS Worker in Round Rock, Texas. The role involves cleaning and sanitizing patient areas, adhering to safety protocols, and supporting a clean, safe environment for patients and staff.

You will follow client requirements, operate cleaning equipment, and report issues via work orders. You will work with a team to maintain high cleanliness standards, protect assets, and respond flexibly to changing duties as directed by management.

Qualifications

• Previous custodial experience preferred.
• Able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to procedures to provide a safe working environment according to OSHA and regulations.
• Cleans and sanitizes patient/resident rooms, vacuums, dusts, make beds, removes waste, and cleans restrooms.
• Maintains and cleans housekeeping equipment.
• Cleans areas to Aramark and client standards.
• Stores and disposes of trash properly and transports it to designated areas.
• Reports maintenance concerns via work orders.
• Maintains friendly, efficient customer service toward customers, clients, patients, and staff.
• Secures the facility and ensures doors are locked/unlocked as required.
• Ensures security of company assets.
• Performs other duties as assigned by manager.

The EVS Worker cleans and maintains assigned area(s) to meet customer, client, and patient satisfaction. Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.

Job Responsibilities

• Adheres to established procedures to provide a safe working environment including aligning with OSHA, state/local, federal, and Aramark regulations
• Performs cleaning and sanitizing of patient / resident rooms that may include vacuuming, high and low dusting, bed making and stripping, and removal of general and hazardous waste. Cleans restrooms following proper infection control procedures.
• Accurately maintains and cleans housekeeping equipment
• Cleans assigned areas to Aramark and client standards and requirements
• Follows procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transports it to designated areas
• Reports maintenance concerns via work order requests to appropriate personnel
• Maintains friendly, efficient, positive customer service demeanor toward customers, clients, patients, and co-workers. Is adaptable to customer needs.
• Secures the facility, ensuring building is locked/unlocked as required
• Ensures security of company assets
• Other duties and tasks as assigned by manager
