Job summary

Aramark is hiring an EVS Worker to clean and sanitize patient and resident rooms, maintaining high standards of safety and cleanliness. You will follow OSHA and Aramark procedures while supporting a secure, clean facility and providing courteous service to clients, patients, and staff.

The role involves handling cleaning tasks, reporting maintenance needs, and adapting to client requirements across locations. Physical duties and PPE usage are part of the job and policies may vary by site.

Qualifications

• Experience in custodial or housekeeping roles.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and sanitizes patient/resident rooms according to standards.
• Adheres to OSHA, state/local, federal, and Aramark regulations for safety.
• Maintains and cleans housekeeping equipment.
• Cleans areas to Aramark and client standards.
• Transports trash to designated areas and manages storage properly.
• Reports maintenance concerns via work order requests.
• Maintains friendly, efficient customer service to customers and staff.
• Secures the facility and ensures doors are locked as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned by manager.

Job Description

The EVS Worker cleans and maintains assigned area(s) to meet customer, client, and patient satisfaction. Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.

Job Responsibilities

• Adheres to established procedures to provide a safe working environment including aligning with OSHA, state/local, federal, and Aramark regulations
• Performs cleaning and sanitizing of patient / resident rooms that may include vacuuming, high and low dusting, bed making and stripping, and removal of general and hazardous waste. Cleans restrooms following proper infection control procedures.
• Accurately maintains and cleans housekeeping equipment
• Cleans assigned areas to Aramark and client standards and requirements
• Follows procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transports it to designated areas
• Reports maintenance concerns via work order requests to appropriate personnel
• Maintains friendly, efficient, positive customer service demeanor toward customers, clients, patients, and co‑workers. Is adaptable to customer needs.
• Secures the facility, ensuring building is locked/unlocked as required
• Ensures security of company assets
• Other duties and tasks as assigned by manager

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
