Job summary

Trinity Health Kenmare Hospital is seeking an Environmental Services Technician – Laundry Aide to support a clean, safe environment for patients, residents and staff. This dual-role combines environmental cleaning with laundry duties to ensure infection control standards are met and linens are stocked.

You will work with clinical teams in a collaborative setting, performing routine cleaning, handling linens, following safety guidelines, and reporting maintenance needs to the supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Cleans, sanitizes, and maintains assigned rooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas according to facility standards.
• Assists with laundry functions, including collection, washing, drying, folding, and delivery of linens and garments.
• Follows established infection control practices, chemical handling procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Ensures equipment and cleaning supplies are used properly and stored safely.
• Reports maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply needs to the supervisor promptly.
