Job summary

International Executive Service Corps seeks an Environmental Services Associate to maintain a clean, safe hospital environment. You will perform floor care, carpet cleaning, and light linen handling while following EVS policies and Joint Commission standards.

The role requires reading and speaking English, basic math for supply use and reporting, and strong interpersonal skills to support patient care areas and staff. High school diploma or GED is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and speak English to follow directions and document status.
• Basic math skills for supply usage and time reporting.
• Positive, service-oriented interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Ability to apply growth and development understanding to patient care as applicable to the unit.
• Ability to identify patient needs and follow area policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a clean environment following EVS policies and Joint Commission standards.
• Perform hard floor care and carpet/upholstery cleaning as assigned.
• Move furniture and equipment safely using proper body mechanics.
• Distribute and handle clean and soiled linen.
• Submit department documentation daily and monthly reports.
