Job summary

ServiceMaster Clean in Towson, MD is seeking an Environmental Services Technician (EVS) to maintain a spotless, safe medical environment. You’ll perform specialized cleaning and disinfection in procedure rooms, restrooms, and common areas, protecting patients, staff and visitors from pathogens.

We offer training and development, a flexible schedule, 401(k), and employee discounts. Compensation is $16.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Be reliable and willing to learn.
• Physically capable of standing, walking, pushing and lifting up to 25 lbs.
• Able to follow cleaning protocols and safely use cleaning products.

Responsibilities

• Specialized cleaning and disinfection of procedure rooms, restrooms and common areas.
• General space maintenance: sweep, mop, polish, dust and trash removal.
• Follow PPE protocols and wear protective equipment as required.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and ensure tools are ready for use.
• Respond quickly to cleaning needs and incidents.

What You’ll Do:

As an EVS Technician, you’ll help maintain the highest standards of cleanliness in medical facilities. Your responsibilities include (but not limited to):

• Specialized Cleaning & Disinfection: Thoroughly clean procedure rooms, restrooms, and common areas to protect against pathogens.
• General Space Maintenance: Sweep, mop, polish, dust, and remove trash to create a welcoming and safe environment.
• Use of PPE: Follow strict safety protocols and wear protective equipment as required.
• Stocking Supplies: Maintain inventory to ensure your tools and products are ready when needed.
• Critical Response: Act quickly and effectively to address cleaning needs that arise.
