Job summary

Harris Health System, Inc. is seeking an Environmental Services team member to assist in cleaning and maintaining all facilities. You will work with management and co-workers to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients and staff.

Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays; overtime may be required. Prior experience in hospitality, healthcare, or commercial cleaning is preferred. Proficient PC skills and familiarity with PeopleSoft are helpful for logging tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or six months of relevant experience.
• Six months of hospitality, commercial or healthcare housekeeping experience preferred.
• Basic PC skills in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all Environmental Services tasks and maintain Harris Health facilities.
• Work with management and co-workers to clean and maintain areas.
• Oversee assigned areas and report to Supervisor.

Job Summary

Assists in all activities of the Environmental Services department. Willing to work with management and co-workers by engaging in cleaning and/or maintaining all areas of Harris Health facilities. Must be flexible and able to handle multiple tasks and assignments. Will oversee and take responsibility for assigned area (s). Direct report to Supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications

• School Education: High School diploma or GED; (OR) six months of recent hospitality, commercial or healthcare housekeeping experience in lieu of high school diploma/GED
• Work Experience: Six months of recent hospitality, commercial or healthcare housekeeping experience preferred
• Proficiencies: Personal Computer
