What You’ll Do

As an EVS Technician, you help keep spaces clean, safe, and ready for visitors and staff. This role exists to support infection prevention and a consistently sanitary facility.

Key responsibilities include

• Clean corridors, restrooms, and shared areas using approved tools and chemical products
• Operate equipment such as floor scrubbers, buffers, and vacuums for floor care and sanitation
• Follow OSHA safety rules, including correct chemical handling, storage, and emergency steps
• Use safe lifting and moving techniques for supplies, equipment, and waste
• Remove and dispose of waste according to strict sanitation guidelines
• Respond professionally to staff requests for cleaning support or supply needs

Required qualifications/skills

• Janitorial/custodial experience
• Working knowledge of OSHA practices, chemical safety, and infection control basics
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely
• Clear communication and strong customer service mindset
