Job summary

Mt. Grant General Hospital is seeking an EVS Tech for part-time shifts to clean hospital interior areas including patient rooms, appliances, and laundry as needed.

The role requires reliability, ability to work standby, and adherence to cleaning procedures. Benefits include eligibility for first-day medical, dental, vision, life, and PERS retirement. Shift schedule includes Sunday 9am–3pm and Mon–Thu 6:00pm–10:00pm.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or its equivalency AND pass required state and federal background checks.
• Experience in housekeeping and/or laundry preferred.
• Experience in floor stripping and waxing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean hospital interiors including patient rooms, appliances, and laundry as needed.
• Follow cleaning procedures and policies; maintain proper sanitation.
• Work as part of EVS team across hospital and ancillary buildings.

Mt. Grant General Hospital is accepting applications for the position of EVS Tech. Duties include cleaning of Acute Hospital and Skilled Nursing Facility interior throughout including patient rooms, appliances, out-buildings, and laundry as needed. Applicants must be dependable; able to work stand-by, multi-task oriented and must be able to abide by the cleaning procedures and policies. This position is eligible for first day medical, dental, vision, life and PERS retirement!

This position is part-time:

Sunday 9am – 3pm

Mon – Thrs 6:00pm – 10:00pm

Primary job duties include cleaning hospital ancillary buildings. (will be trained in all areas of EVS)

$14.50/hour + shift differential

Minimum qualifications are any combination of training, education, and experience that would provide the required knowledge and ability such as:

High School Diploma or its equivalency AND

Per NRS 449 and NRS 200.5091, successful applicant(s) must pass required state and federal background checks.

Experience in housekeeping and/or laundry preferred.

Experience in floor stripping and waxing preferred.
