The EVS Tech is responsible for the general appearance of resilient floor and carpeted surfaces in corridor, patient rooms, public areas, offices, treatment rooms and any other areas deemed necessary by the supervisor. Performs terminal cleaning of Operating Room, Cardiac Cath Lab, Intensive Care Unit, Electro Physiology Labs, Labor & Delivery Rooms, Labor & Delivery Operating Room, Recovery Pre-holding, Behavioral Health Units, or in assigned areas in accordance with standard departmental procedures and hospital objectives at the Medical Facilities. Performs stripping and waxing of floors and other floor tech responsibilities. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.
MINIMUM EDUCATION: High School Graduate or GED, or 3 years of full time work experience in Environment Services in lieu of education.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 3 years of cleaning experience in hospitality or healthcare setting and terminal cleaning experience
