Job summary

Prime Healthcare Services is seeking an Environmental Service Technician at Saint Joseph Hospital - Elgin. The role involves maintaining a high level of cleanliness across the hospital and adjacent buildings and may require traveling between facilities without assistance.

You will respond to and initiate communications via phone, handheld radios, pagers, and other devices, supporting a safe, sanitary environment for patients, staff, and visitors on day shifts as a Per Diem employee.

Qualifications

• One (1) year of knowledge within acute care hospital environmental service techniques, practices and procedures preferred.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to read, understand and communicate effectively.
