Job summary

Lower Bucks Hospital in Bristol, PA is seeking an Environmental Service Technician to keep patient areas clean, safe and comfortable. This full-time, evening shift role supports the hospital’s commitment to quality and compassionate care within a community setting.

You will respond to cleaning needs across the facility, move between buildings as needed, and communicate clearly by phone, radios, and pagers to coordinate hygiene and sanitation tasks with staff.

Qualifications

• One year of knowledge within acute care hospital environmental service techniques preferred.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to read, understand and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high level of cleanliness within the hospital and adjacent buildings.
• May travel between facilities to perform cleaning duties.
• Respond to and initiate communication by phone, handheld radios, pagers, etc.

Located in historic Bristol, Pennsylvania, the Hospital is well-known for its knowledgeable medical staff, including cardiology, orthopedics, radiology, wound care, and general surgery. The hospital has more than 200 physicians on staff, as well as another 700 employees.

Responsibilities

The Environmental Service Technician is responsible for maintaining a high level of cleanliness within the hospital and adjacent buildings, which may require traveling from one facility to another without assistance. Respond to and initiate communication by phone, handheld radios, pagers etc.
