You will follow infection control guidelines, sanitize and disinfect surfaces, and support waste handling while ensuring safety across all areas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques and safe chemical use in healthcare settings.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks in patient rooms, nursing stations, treatment areas, and other facility spaces.
• Sanitize and disinfect surfaces, equipment, and furniture to prevent the spread of infections.
• Empty trash containers and transport waste to designated disposal areas following safety protocols.
• Stock and maintain cleaning supplies and restock as needed.
• Follow procedures for handling and disposing of biohazardous materials.
• Respond promptly to cleaning requests from staff or patients.
• Assist with special cleaning projects and emergency clean-up needs.
• Adhere to all infection control and safety guidelines.
• Report maintenance or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel.
