Job summary

Mary Free Bed is seeking an EVS Tech for the Grand Rapids campus. The role involves maintaining a clean and safe environment with shifts Monday–Friday 8:00am–4:30pm, plus every other weekend and holiday. Compensation starts at $18.00 per hour with a $1,000 sign-on bonus for a one-year commitment.

The EVS Tech will perform cleaning, sanitizing, and stocking duties in patient areas and common spaces while ensuring high standards of patient and staff safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/Equivalent preferred; work permit may be required.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Capable of following instructions and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Cleans assigned areas such as offices, lavatories, lounges, and public areas.
• Sweeps, dusts, mops floors and carpets, buffs hard floors.
• Collects trash and disposes properly.
• Cleans, sanitizes, and polishes baths, fixtures; replenishes supplies.
• Assists with setups, linen delivery, mail delivery, and other duties as assigned.

Stocks paper and soap products, etc. as necessary.* Dusts, washes, sponge mops, sanitizes, and extracts furniture.
