HHS is seeking an EVS Assistant Director to lead a hospital housekeeping team in Johnstown and Meyersdale. The role focuses on creating a safe, clean environment for patients, with leadership responsibilities in scheduling, training, and team development.

The position offers a full-time opportunity with a schedule that may include nights and weekends. No prior housekeeping experience is required, but willingness to learn and relocate for promotion opportunities is important.

Qualifications

• Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Computer experience with word processing, spreadsheets, and various software.
• Must be willing to relocate for promotion opportunities.
• Experience managing a team (preferred).
• Experience working in a healthcare environment (preferred).
• Proficiency in languages other than English, especially Spanish (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership that supports a team environment that fosters morale, passion, quality, and respect.
• Lead and manage team member training, development, assignments, and schedules.
• Perform daily inspections and coach and counsel team members.
